Play Pods

As part of our mission to serve as a community resource, we now host Play Pods! These Play Pods are affinity groups of member parents and caregivers with a common interest that meet one to two times a month. Some Play Pods are also open to families who are not currently members of the toy library. We currently offer the following Play Pods:

Queer Families:

  • Second Sunday of the month, 9:00-11:00am.

 

Spanish Speakers (both native speakers and SSL):

  • Fourth Sunday of the month, 10:00am-12:00pm. 

 

Stay-at-Home Parents of "Little Kids"

  • First Monday of the month from 9:30am-11:30am

  • Third Friday of the month from 9:30-11:30am.

  • Aimed to support families of children ages 0-3 but all are always welcome

 

Neurodivergent Community: ​

  • Third Sunday of the month from 10:00-11:00am

​

​Dads:​

  • Fourth Sunday of the month, 9:00am-10:30am.

If you are interested in joining an active Play Pod, just RSVP through the event link for the session you're interested in joining.  To be added to the email list for a Play Pod, fill out this form. Already in a Pod?

Please RSVP for each Play Pod session you plan to attend so the leaders have an idea of who to expect. When you arrive at the Toy Library make sure to sign-in at the tablet on the front desk and indicate that you are here for an Play Pod on the form. Grab a green lanyard and name tag from the front desk to identify yourself as part of the pod, and most importantly, have fun!
