Parties at the PTLL

The toy library is a fabulous place for any gathering that includes young children! We're known as a great birthday party location, but we're also a great spot for many different kinds of parties and meet-ups. Both members and non-members can book parties at the PTLL.

Party rentals are available on Fridays, Saturdays, or Sundays. We only schedule one party per day. Your rental fee includes exclusive use of the space for 5 hours on Friday or 7 hours on Saturday/Sunday. No one but your group will be in the play space. Bring your own food, cake, and decorations. We've got enough toys to keep any kid interested for hours...and our long rental period allows you to take your time with set up and clean up.

Volunteer members and non-volunteer members receive a party discount. Lending members are not eligible for a party discount.  In addition to the rental fee, we collect a refundable deposit to help ensure that you and your guests take care to leave our space in the condition that you found it.  To book a party at the Volunteer Member rate, Volunteer Members must have  (1) completed both the New Member Orientation and VOD Training and  (2) have completed one volunteer shift as a VOD.

Additionally, you must be a member for 2 months to receive a member rate.

Friday Parties

The play space is yours from 3:30pm to 8:30 pm

Volunteer members pay $50.00 (plus a $50.00 refundable deposit).

Non-volunteer members pay $100.00 (plus a $50.00 refundable deposit).

Non-members & Lending pay $150.00 (plus a $70.00 refundable deposit).

Saturday/Sunday Parties

The play space is yours from 1:30 to 8:30 p.m.

Volunteer members pay $75.00 (plus a $50.00 refundable deposit).

Non-volunteer members pay $150.00 (plus a $50.00 refundable deposit).

Non-members & Lending members pay $200.00 (plus a $70.00 refundable deposit).

*** Volunteer members may request to book a party date up to 6 months prior to the desired event date. Non-volunteer members may request a party date up to 4 months prior, and non-members and lending members may request up to 3 months prior.  i.e. To book Dec 10 for a party, it becomes available as early as, but no sooner than, June 10 for volunteer members to submit a request.  If the date remains available, beginning Aug 10, both volunteer and non-volunteer members may request a Dec 10 party date.  Beginning Sept 10, anyone may request to book a party for Dec 10 if available on the party calendar.

Booking up to

6 months in advance for Volunteer Members, up to 4 months for Non-volunteer members, and up to 3 months for non-members!

Please view our party calendar and email our party coordinator to request an available party date!  Once received, the party coordinator will email you a party rental contract to sign and the deposit invoice, both due within 1 week, to complete your booking. 

Please review our party rental policies and procedures prior to submitting a party request.
