Book Your Private Party at the Pittsburgh Toy Lending Library (PTLL) Host your child's next celebration at the Pittsburgh Toy Lending Library! You'll get exclusive, private access to our incredible play space—no one but your group will be in the building. With enough toys to delight any child for hours, it’s the perfect place for a memorable party. Availability & Rental Details Days Available: Parties are only scheduled on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. Exclusivity: We only book one party per day, ensuring total privacy for your event. Rental Times: Friday Rental: You get 5 hours of exclusive use. Saturday/Sunday Rental: You get 7 hours of exclusive use. The Benefit of Long Rentals: Our long rental periods give you plenty of time for both set up and clean up. What You Need to Know Self-Service: The rental is self-managed. No PTLL representative will be present during your event to answer questions or provide services. Food & Decorations: Bring your own food, cake, and decorations! Clean Up is Required: You are responsible for cleaning the toy library to ensure it's ready for the next group. This includes: Picking up all toys. Removing all your decorations. Taking all trash out to the dumpster outside. Please refer to the "After-Party Checklist" in your Party Packet for specific details. Volunteer Member Rate Eligibility To qualify for the special Volunteer Member rate, members must meet all of the following requirements: Be a member for at least two months. Have completed both the New Member Orientation and VOD (Volunteer On Duty) Training. Have successfully completed one volunteer shift as a VOD. Donating Your Refundable Deposit Instead of receiving a refund for your refundable deposit, please consider donating it to the Pittsburgh Toy Lending Library (PTLL). Your contribution directly supports our all-volunteer efforts to ensure every child in Pittsburgh has access to affordable play, regardless of their family’s financial situation.
